Javan First Twelve (2008)
Got this idea from some mummies who babies turn 1 year old. Thot it's a way of recapping out Lil' Darlin growth during these past TWELVE month.
Macdonalds
Brought Javan to Macdonalds on the 28 Dec 2008-Sunday after his monring feed and as usual we had our breakfast there. We let Javan had some bites but when we got home, OMG!!! Javan vomitted!!

Javan First Christmas
This year 25 Dec 2008 marked Javan's very first Christmas. We did not celebrate this occasion and neither did we buy Javan a gift. We just had our dinner at FIL place (Javan's yeye).
It's a raining day and we did not plan any program coz we both feel that Javan is still so young to understand so we just stayed indoor.

11 Month
Javan is 10 Month old TODAY. Hurray!!!! Will be 1 year old-Toddler in another 30 days. Mummy is busy with the 1st Birthday Celebration-Party Favour thingy. This birthday celebration maybe simple (Just families/closed frends) but mummy will make it "NICE" for Lil' Darlin. Thought of a theme already but its gonna be a secret for now! :-).. Dad and Mum even stay up late just to get a evening slot on Our Lil' darlin birthday (Actual Day). Think we are the Super KS who waited for the sec to tick to 12:00 Midnight. Really a unforgettable moment-Just for our Lil' Darlin!!!
Javan has sprouted a total of 5 teeth, another lower left should be on the way soon, he's really drooling this few days and mouthing/biting things that he can get hold of. He often give Daddy a bite when he's being carried.
Javan is able to:-
Crawl-Creeping
Learning to pulls self to standing-Has been doing these more often since yesterday
Can stand with support for a short period
Knows how to Bye Bye when asked to
Knows how to Gong Xi but depends on his mood
Enjoy Barney Theme song
Can dance when asked to
Stronger separation anxiety
Height and weight are still unkown but he is sure wearing clothes for 18-24 month. well, at least!!
Eating well with 2 porridge feed and 4 milk feed (Similac Stage 2)
Sprouted a total of 5 teeth and cutting 1 more

Active Active and Active
Every morning Lil Darlin will wave goodbye to Daddy. This morning he even push HT away on the doorstep after waving goodbye, it's like telling him it's time to go to work...ha...
Every morning i will leave lil Darlin on the playmat crawling while i brush teeth..etc.. I will peep on him once in while. Normally he will not crawl far. The most dangerous for him will be the chair as he will attempt to pull. Gosh...this morning he crawl to the chair which i thot was norm so i continue with what im doing..in less than a min time, i peep out of the bathroom...OMG!!!, he was on the fan, pulling the brand sticker on the base and start exploring the sticker, the sticking part. I took the sticker away and contine my brushing....eeee....Again, when i peeped out, his mouth was on the base of the fan..seems like munching on the sticky part...eee..OMG!!! That really shocked me!! This time round i really understand that never under estimate a baby....Immediately i clean his mouth and bring him to wash his hand..and now that he is more active and is able to move on his own (crawl), he doesnt like people to control his movement. Even a handwash, he will fidget with lotsa things...really losing my energy in the early morning.. Guess a play yard for this moment will do most work for mummy...well, at least for the next few months..
Nowaday more active baby=less energetic mummy.

Daddy's Birthday
We add another 1 year to Daddy's age...Bought a blackforest cake to celebrate HT birthday. This year will be special coz "we" celebrate with Javan. Daddy's first brithday celebration with Javan.

Development
Before i forget the development of little Darlin, I hope to really blog religiously on his development. At least weekly, if not. Well, that's the objectives of having a blog for him, right!?
As of early this week, Javan can wave goodbye when asked to. Last weekend he has been practising on his own but did not do as told. Thanks to nanny and family! When i fetch him on Monday evening, 1 Dec 2008. He waves goodbye to me when asked to. He's so cute when doing it, just like the "zhao cai mao". He will waves goodbye to Daddy when HT is going off to work. We were so happy seeing him waving especially when we are going out and most of the time he never fail to do it when asked to wave.
Realised that Javan understand more and more words. He understand words like train, sarong, Bear, papa..bye bye..
When he throw things on the floor, We will smacked his hand and he will look at us and if we give the item back to him again, he will not throw away. But if we did not smacked his hand, he will throw away the item no matter how many times we gave it to him.
Javan seems to be having stranger anxiety. Last Saturday when we were at my mum's place, he cried when my relatives (Da Yee, Si Yee and cousin) visited my mum. They did not even want to carry him. He just Wailed upon seeing them. "Stranger anxiety peak at around 9 months to 1 year old"
He is able to put objects into a container. That really depends on his mood. Mostly he loves to throw the balls accurately into basket of the Fisherprice stride to ride walker. But nowadays he seems to be more playful, instead of throwing the balls into the basket he would rather throw the balls on the floor and see and hear the balls roll.
He's getting impatient on seeing us adults eat. He will scream and cry on most occasion when we eat and ignore his request of asking for some adult food. But, anyway we did bring him to macdonald for breakfast and he will show his gleeful smile there. Will capture his gleeful smile the next round..
Little darlin seems to be growing so fast in those few weeks/month. HT and I have got him some new clothes as he has outgrown most of them, esp his night romper with footies. He's now wearing 18-24 months for all rompers. We are not sure if the clothes sizes are small cutting or he is he REALLY tall for his age?
Lastly we are so puzzled!? Because Little Darlin seems to like the cushion more than anything else.

Javan's First Happy Meal
Brought Javan to Macdonald for breakfast on 15 November. This is his first McDonald's Madagascar 2 Melman - Toy from Happy Meal!

10 Month
Javan is 10 Month old as of 18 Nov 2008. In another 2 months time, he will be a toddler and no longer a baby! Missed the New Born Javan....Gonna missed his baby days real soon...
Have been thinking a lot recently on Javan's 1st year old birthday celebration, not sure if we really want to have a celebration. If yes, What's will the theme be? But it's definitely a must for a photo studio taking! Have shortlisted one. Looking forward to his phototaking session and had even bought him some outfit and of course not forgetting our (Chiang) family tees.
Javan's Development
Daddy spotted another sprouting tooth on his lower left gum last fri on 14 Nov. Javan has a total of 5 teeth.
Javan's crawling:
Javan has just started to creep..
He has been doing leopard crawl for quite some time. We would never expect him to be able to do anything more than that as the PD commented that some babies will not change their crawling style and may remain on the style till they walk. Though it's not crawling but we are happy to see the progress on Javan. Hope to see him crawl on 4s soon..
What does creeping means? Extracted from the web:-
"Creeping--that is, when your baby begins to drag himself across the floor with his arms--can begin any time between five months and one year.
Because normal, healthy babies begin creeping and crawling at such widely different ages, it doesn't make sense to talk about delayed crawling. It also doesn't make sense to try to make your baby crawl earlier - in the long run, it simply makes no difference to her later motor development."
Having 4 milkfeed of 180-230ml per day with 2 meals of porridge and some snack in between- i think!
We have brought him to Macdonalds for breakfast and feed him with hotcakes and scramble egg...he loves it..
