Nursery Rhymes

Few days ago i posted.

Last night i took the chance to ask Javan, what is the title in no. 3....11....18.......5....Tadaa....he knew it and is able to tell me correctly the song title. I knew he will know it, cause he really has got good memory.
He's also able to sing more nursery rhymes now, he has learnt most of it in school.

Colouring in school

Last Friday (13 May 2011), Javan bought home this pyramid that he coloured in school.


Today (16 May 2011), Javan brought this red apple home.

Hobby

Javan new hobby is going round to see different blocks now. He insists in looking at the numeric blocks signage. Yes, it's block, It's weird isn't it? Every morning and evening or even afternoon, he will demand to go to the block and look at the blocks and what is the highest storey/street name by looking at the letterboxs.
So glad that daddy found those blocks on the internet. See...how happy he is....

Songs Title

He has been sitting on the bench looking at the CD cover for ages. For a moment, i thought something had happened. I look at him and saw that he's ok and still looking at the CD song title. That happens on Saturday when i played the CD song for him.

So yesterday, Sunday. I asked him, What song is next, and to my surprise he look at the CD title and told me "You are my sunshine"...and yes, last saturday he was reading the CD song title.

Chair Ride

New Hair Cut

Javan school teacher has been urging him to cut his hair.
So yesterday, he allowed 干妈妈 to bring him to a hair cut without fussing.
Hope that he stays fuss free when having his hair cut!

Happy Mother's Day

Javan knows that it's Mothers Day on this 08 May 2011. He wish me Happy Mother's Day the first thing when he woke up, before he got out of his bed. Such a sweet boy!

Javan said to me: "Today is 08 May 2011. Mummy, Happy Mother's Day!"

He gave me this flower that he did in school! (though it came 2 days after Mother's Day!) This flower is also for 干妈妈, whom i think deserve this too!



On Sunday, I asked him if he do anything for Mummy in school and he said he did a flower for Mummy but did not bring it home. But his classmate, Jing Min brought it home.
So on Tuesday, he brought home his flower for Mummy and yes, indeed Jing Min already bring home the flower last Friday, as 干妈妈 has checked it out :-)!

Iphone

We purposely set passwords on our Iphone to prevent Javan from calling out (from our contact list). It's working fine for the past weeks as he cannot called since the phone was lock.
Last night when i was blowing my hair. somehow i saw him listening songs from ipod. I did a check and the phone was indeed lock. But few minutes later i heard somebody talking in the phone. I ignore coz i expect the phone to be "locked" still.
But after which i turn to look at Javan, he indeed called out without a password!!
How did he do it, i asked him??? Then he demonstrated to me. I then check my phone, to my surprise, he called several contact on my iphone, include 1 of the HP number which he key in, which belongs to 大姐姐.
This password lock is not fullproof. I think it's Foolproof. :-)

Bedtime Coversation

I love to have conversation with Javan before he dozed off. We talked about his school and i tested him on spelling which he loves it. He even asked for more....
To my surprise he can spell lots of words which i do not think he knows. He definitely has a very good memory. I do not think he encode it by phonics as we have not teach him yet or he has not learn from school. Probably would be next year in school.

Diaperless

Javan has been diaperless in the daytime as well as in school but not during napping time.
At home, Javan has been refusing to put on diaper since last week. Even so when he's having his noon nap and before he goes to bed at night.
When we were out, he did it well. Did not wet his pant. He missed both times only when he's sleeping (once when napping and another in the early morning). Oh! Another time was when Daddy was with him, he said he wanted to pee, but was too late (according to Daddy).

Last night Daddy managed to coax him into wearing diaper. This morning was still dry when he woke up as he only took a bun without milk last night. We still would prefer him to wear diaper when going to sleep, prevent any miss/mess.

Nevertheless, we did save a deal on the diaper.
