32 Month

At 32 Months, Javan can completely recognise and read Month and Day. Months back, he already can read date and year and put on the correct one on his calander chart.
MY updates are mainly on his educational side..as i feel that he's doing great and has the most improvement since he's not so interested in his toys (no much milestones update too). It's truly his own interest, there's no rules from us. It's a stress free environment.

"MY Calandar" suprises (He has his own way of learning things)
He loves to removes all parts (Day, Date, MOnth, Season, Weather, Year) and put it back on his own or ask me to put it back (his passed me the correct pieces in an orderly manner).
There were 2 times which i actually placed Autumn wrongly and he corrected me. Another was, i was searching high and low for January and Javan pointed to me that January was already on " MY Calendar"...:-)

He certainly has his own ways of learning things. Be it calendar or stations/LRT names

He happily take out a book at a time and ask me "这个在哪里买?" then stack up the book and say "放高高"

PS: Picture on the book caught his eyes (baby not wearing shirt).
Javan: Baby shame shame....

He loves Ipad, he's able to open the youtube application and search ABC (Fully on his own, without any help) as he loves ABCs song.
So glad that i managed to take those following pictures (I like it)

My Favourite Book (from library)

I brought Javan to CCK library 2 wks ago (1 Sept-2010) for story telling. We were late as the story telling ends at 8.00pm.
So i thot Javan maybe bored of the books at home, I choose 4 books for him.
2 books are step into reading which Javan is not so keen.
Another is the time book which he's pretty much into it (coz he's so into time/clock now).
However he loves this book the most: Bedtime for Mommy. I realised that he likes books that can easily relate to his everyday lives/habit..
I narrate the story to him. He asked for more. So i read to him, as well as describe to him in my own words for as much as going through 3 times at 1 go, till Ive to stop him.
He can read 80% on his own.
This is the book and inside page.
