2 more upper teeth coming!!!!

Saw another 2 upper teeth on Javan upper gumlines last night. Javan has a total of 4 teeth now...still growing...will take picture of his 4teeth if he allows me to. He hasnt been cranky or refusing milk for the following milk feed though he is still teething. Hope he will not.

Thought I should post of what happened last saturday while we were on the train to TPY. We would never have expected him to scream so loudly on the pram especially while sitting on his pram. All along if he's sitted on the pram he would never make noise or he will ignore people completely. That is JAVAN!! This morning I pushed Javan to Wendy (nanny), to my surprise wendy's hubby told me "He know how to scold people already". But i would say Javan has a character of his own. If he doesnt wan something, he will not have it even if we forced him. Even if succeeded in forcing, the whole day he will be giving us face to see. Even wendy commented on this, she had forced Javan to drink water. Ha..i know it coz ive experienced it myself. He is definitely bad tempered like me.
It will be important to discipline Javan and i believe he understand "NO".
PS: Daddy pls do not let Javan bully u!! of coz theres a time whereby they are unwell and time where he is throwing tantrum. I believe the latter should be discipline though. Need to read up how to descipline/punished bb? The road to parenting is definitely not easy-tough and never ending..........

Painful Weekend

Javan had been having constipation since last thursday and on several occasion i saw him squeezing, trying to pass his stool. Finally the painful day came on sun. While trying very hard to squeeze out his stool, he cry and grunt and squeeze...finally out it come!! Painful sun had not ended...i tried to feed him his usual milk feed and OMG, he became a "merlion", vomitted out ive fed him, 230ml of milk. He did not cry or make any noise, hence i assume that it's actually wind inside him as he did not burp for his last few feeds. Such scary and messy minutes but HT was not at home, he was out running errand for Javan for some stool softener syrup. Did not feed Javan semisolid on sun as semisolid/cereal worsen constipation.

Home Sweet Home

How fast time flies!! Javan has been going to nanny place for 4 weeks plus and ive been working for 3 weeks plus. It seems like a right choise or maybe im just not the "material" for being a SAHM. Everything goes well from the beginning, just a little hiccp though and most importantly, MUMMY MISS HIM. But it seems like im getting more rest and am able to go to bed at 10pm sharp with Javan going to bed at 8plus to 9PM every night. Most bad habit seems to disappear. He's now able to intereact more with stranger and he is not depending on electric cradle during his sleep not even during day time. He's daily activities seems more routine.

He has been waking up at 5am plus daily and play inside his sarong until we carry him out, have milk at 6am then push him to the MRT where nanny wait there for him.

Nanny give him 2 milk feed and 2 semisolid feed (porride and either brown rice or rice cereal). After that another night feed from me until the next morning.

Evening will be home sweet home when HT and I will fetch him home at about 7PM. This few days he has been so sweet. The moment he saw HT or me, he will smile happily at us and wan us to carry with his arms open. The moment we carry him over he seems to be jumping happily and wait to be seated in his pram. This morning after his feed i was carrying him and he saw HT and turn towards HT with his arms open. Wanting HT to carry?? Few weeks/months down the road it will not be easy to refuse him, he is growing up so fast!!!

7 month today

Javan is 7 month today!!
Realised he is having another lower tooth on sat (16 Aug). Total: 2 lower sprouting teeth about 1/4 height now. He is having swelling gums on the growing area. Little wonder is he refusing milk and has been fussing. Last sat (16 Aug), his milk intake has returned to his normal days of 230ml. He is on TOTAL FM as of today with semi solid.

As of today, Javan is able to:-
stand for a short period of time
loves to bounce when held for support from arms
likes to suck his toe and hand
hand transferred (pass an object from one of hands to another)
will opened his mouth or lean forward when he sees a spoon
drink from cup
likes to scream
pull object towards him

New Shoes

Javan can stand straight with support for few moments. He is wearing a new pair of shoes bought by Gu Gu.Gu Gu bought him this pair of shoes coz there's a patch of no hair on the back of his head and hokkien interpret it as "gou lou" which means gu gu must buy him a pair of shoes, not sure why too. With his shoes on, he doesnt look 6mth +.

Updates....

Last night we were supposed to bring Javan to PD after our dinner, halfway through he was fussing and daddy thot he is fussing for attention as what he saw what Javan did when he went to fetch Javan from Nanny's house. HT saw Javan screaming away when nanny tried to feed him with brown rice since he refuses milk. But i told HT that he seems to be hungry since i can more or less catch his cue. After that i went to make 120ml of milk and he really surprise us...really finished everydrop and not enough though, we then make another 80ml after 30 mins and he finished all up too.
Perhaps this little darlin knows that we are bringin him to PD if he still refuses milk as yesterday milk intake was only 300+ml which is way too little for has age. Hmmm...we decided not to bring him to PD since his milk intake improve last nite and decided to monitor...
Just called nanny and was told that he drank 100ml, though still little but at least better than yesterday intake. Nanny said yesterday he took porridge very fast, guess its the teething stage. Well... will see how it goes..........

Refusing Milk

Seems ages since i last blogged, have been adjusting to a Full time working mum life. Juggling between work and Javan and of coz hubby. No time for housework, no time to cook, no time for SG motherhood forum...no time for everything....hope to adjust everything well, but of coz all these need Javan's cooperation.
Has been spending a lot of time coaxing Javan to drink milk, he has been refusing milk since sat and sun he really really refuse milk to the extend that every 4hrly he took only 20-30ml. I last feed him 30ml was his first feed in the morning (last feed was abt 30ml at 9pm). He seems a vicious cycle after going through all these since he was about 4 month. The only consolating part is that at least I/Nanny is able to feed him semi-solid, hope he is not rejecting as well.. as mentioned earlier, bb at his age need milk most, hope it's not some infection (touchwood!!), just teething..keep my fingers cross.
If everythings goes well as planned, im able to at least have some time to do my own things or at least get some rest. Will be bringing him to PD later.

Teething

Javan is teething, feel something hard and sharp while cleaning his gums last sat (2 Aug), but only 1 tooth. That's why he keep rubbing his ears and biting toys/shirt...basically everything that is within his reach.
This morning HT was still at home while im preparing for work and Javan was lying on the bouncer waiting to be carried to his stroller. HT and I was talking in front of Javan, GUESS WHAT HE DID?? He screamed at HT and he lift up both his arms asking HT to carry..It's like asking "Y are u talking away, u know im angry??"..hahha..we were so shock!!!! Anyway this is not the first time that he is bullying his Daddy...hahah...:-P...to be continued...
