Happy Children's Day 2011

Javan has been sick on this year Children's Day. But has recovered! (This is a back dated post)
Ive been hesitating to give him this Children's Day present. PD has diagnosed him as having sensitive nose.
After much thoughts i gave this to him (coz it's the main character of his fave storybook) but i warned him that he's not allowed to sniff or go near the Gruffalo else Gruffalo will bring him to the "Deep dark Wood or the Gruffalo will get angry". I have been keeping it away till he asked for it. Bring it out but keeping a close look out.
So far, he's quite cooperative.

Homemade Recycle Lantern

Mid Autumn 2011

We had buffet dinner for Mid Autumn celebration. Javan enjoyed the fried rice and sausages. He had a really big sausage all by himself. Also with the fried fish and chicken fillet.
Program for this year is about the same as the other years. Guess it bored Javan that he keep chanting want to go home and asked me what time are we going home?!
This year lucky draw we won ourselves a 20th prize, which is a $30 NTUC voucher.

Javan likes this 七星彯虫 stirer that he gets from the NEA booth. He choose the pink instead of the blue stirer. Only the pink stirer has 七星彯虫.

Teacher's Day - 2011

It's the very first year that Javan Celebrate Teacher's Day!
I asked Javan if he would like to make a Teachers Day card for Teacher Ivy and Teacher Shirley. He said "Yes"!
So i asked him what he would like to write on the card. He replied "Thank you" "I Love You"
So i cut 2 drawing paper and did my own dotted line and i asked Javan to write on his own. He followed the dotted line and finished the 2 cards in less than 5 mins.

Ive also ordered 2 customised Teachers Day towel for Javan's teacher and also Daddy has added on the flowers.

NDP Preview 2011

Was so glad that we finally went to NDP preview 2011 on 30 July 2011 (Saturday). Despite us having only 2 tickets and javan has not even recover from his flu and cough.
So, having only 2 tickets, Javan and i went together. The tickets were from Mr Poh, the NC group and HT finally got the tickets from the balloting.
Initially we planned to visit my mum then Javan will have a nap there before we go to the preview. We changed our plan on visiting my mum as Javan slept in the morning on 10.17am which he usually will not. He then wake up at ard 2pm which was too late to visit mum. Javan was not on the best mood as the medication has made his feel drowsy. He demanded to take the cictle line MRT to Tai Seng even though i told him that im bringing him to Esplanade. Nevertheless we finally made it to the preview and im so glad that Javan has enjoyed it!

Father's Day

Happy Mother's Day

Javan knows that it's Mothers Day on this 08 May 2011. He wish me Happy Mother's Day the first thing when he woke up, before he got out of his bed. Such a sweet boy!

Javan said to me: "Today is 08 May 2011. Mummy, Happy Mother's Day!"

He gave me this flower that he did in school! (though it came 2 days after Mother's Day!) This flower is also for 干妈妈, whom i think deserve this too!



On Sunday, I asked him if he do anything for Mummy in school and he said he did a flower for Mummy but did not bring it home. But his classmate, Jing Min brought it home.
So on Tuesday, he brought home his flower for Mummy and yes, indeed Jing Min already bring home the flower last Friday, as 干妈妈 has checked it out :-)!

First Wedding Dinner

Javan's very first wedding dinner (My cousin's wedding) @ The Furama, riverfront hotel on 26 Dec 2010 (Sunday)
He's more excited about taking MRT to Tiong Bahru than the wedding dinner.

There's his little initial, Looks like J, which is written by him and his little finger print.

MidAutumn Celebration

As usual from last year, we joint in the celebration at My Quintet from 6-9pm. We bought 2 tickets. It comes with dinner/lucky draw/goodies bag, including mooncake which they brought round for the resident. Javan had his usual fish porridge. Daddy went to shopping mall and bought him a "colourful light lantern stick" which he likes, well...at least more than the Doraemon lantern, at least he is willing to hold on his own. We did not buy lantern for him as the old one works fine. Nanny and family bought him a battery lantern.
