Swimming Lesson

Javan's very 2nd swim!
Last sunday, nanny and family came for a swim and brought Javan's along. Javan seems to be afraid of water but after sometime he was ok, probably he knows that he will be safe on Mr Lee's/Apa* hand. A very good swimming experience for Javan, as his whole body was immersed in water.

Infact we've always wanted to bring Javan down for a dip but most of the time we are busy/housework/etc.. He really needs to get more exposure to water. Ive always wanted him to take up swimming lesson at the age of 3..hopefully by then he has already love swimming/water! *Swimming is a really good form of exercise*

*Apa-Whenever Javan sees Mr Lee, very naturally he will give Mr Lee a nodd of head and call him Apa, it's a kinda bond!
If this blog is not gonna to disppear so soon (Few Years at least), hope Javan can read this blog when he grows up, that Mummy and Daddy wanted to tell him that he has been such a lucky/bliss little baby, that he is really so well-taken care by Nanny and Family, that everybody love him and give him so much attention. Not forgetting neighbour, triplet's mum who will sing/recite ABC-Z to him and talked to him. Infact we will never have to worry about Javan when we are at work coz we know that he is definitely in safe hands....

13 Month

Javan is 13 month today! About 1 week ago, he had started to walk unassisted for few steps. And today Javan can definitely walk more than few steps but not so steady though. He might just fall! :-p
Looking forward to the day where we can just hold his little hand and walk. Oh i may regret what ive said, coz it's definitely more tiring than pushing him on a stroller. :-)

He has been calling baba and refuse to call mama now (he called mama for the first 1 week when he first started to talked).
He is able to understand what we are saying. When we asked him "where is Gavin? he will look at the Gavin Grasshopper storybook and pressed the button"
Not forgetting to mention that he can pressed some buttons. Those soft buttons.

"Surprise" Valentine Day

Got a surprise from Our Darlin..well, much of a shock actually! It happened sooo early this morning when we were still in slumberland.....Zzz...zzz...
Heard a thump sound at about 4+AM! Immediately HT screamed loudly, realised that our little darling had fallen from the sarong cradles. He was already lying on the floor, out of the sarong stand area. When HT picked him up, he started to cry, not too bad, checked him and found him OK. Till now he's ok! Thanks God! Perhaps,it's a sign that it's time to wean him off from his sarong cradle. We had a sleepless night/morning after that. Lil' Darling has been crying in his sleep after that! What a bad day especially on this V. Day!

Not intend to have V. Day celebration today (actual day), few reasons and of course one is to avoid the crowds. Will have a little celebration tomorrow with Daddy & Mummy's bundle of pride and joy! Update detail tomorrow...

Happy Lunar New Year 2009 (Year of Ox)

Javan's 2nd CNY celebration. But this year CNY is very much different from last year CNY! This CNY we went for reunion dinner/house visiting together with Javan and what's more important is that he is definitely more aware of the surrounding as compared to a new born baby last year (Last CNY, was still doing confinement).

Though this year CNY, Javan is offically ONE!! A toddler but he has not walk unsupported yet. Javan can say words like baba..bear...bread...realised that he's able to say single B syllables words. We are certainly amazed of his progress, especially mummy! that he is able to say his first word other than baba/mama before the age of 1!! Things that he can do includes mimicking some adults action and also pretending to cry (without tears). He can say/shout "Hey/A" to indicates his wants though sometimes mummy and daddy do not understand. He has 8 sprouted teeth (4 upper and 4 lower). Notforgetting that he has started to cruise in his play yard and he can wave goodbye, clap his hands, do gongxi by putting both hands together. When ask to peng kiss he will place his hand/palm on his mouth.

1st Birthday Celebration - 18 Jan 2009

We had a small celebration for Javan on his 1st birthday on 18 Jan 2009 at The Quintet Function Room. It's his ACTUAL Day! The theme was Fun At One Boy, was contemplating on winnie the pooh and fun at one boy. Daddy choosen this theme as the pooh design did not have the "1st" on the banner. We both feel that 1st is significant. Cake was ordered from Bangawan solo, mummy choosen this aeroplane design as it goes well with the theme, the filling was vanilla with a thin layer of peach. Was so worried about the taste of the cake and the combination of the favour that ive choosen. Thanks God! it's turn out to be so tasty! Some guest commented the tastiness of the cake, even i ate 2 big pieces. The buffet was from Fostre, well..was a bit disappointed despite good comment on the forum. Would still prefer NeoGarden.

We decorated the room with lots of helium/normal balloons, Banner and nice table cloth. Most Balloons were blew by HT and i tied them together using blue ribbons. Decorations at the function room was done by HT and SIL. We were busy hosting the party and taking care of little our star, thanks all who've helped especially SIL!

Party went well but our star was grouchy. His schedule on that day was haywired. He was supposed to nap on 9.30am latest for his morning nap but instead he nap on 1130am. Then he missed his noon nap. He was feeling tired even before cake cutting. Finally we did the cake cutting on 6.45pm. My planned schedule on cake cutting was 6.30pm, after Javan's dinner. Was delay as some guests were late. We had a total of 29 guests including 8 children.

Finally brought him up to sleep after the cake cutting and photograph taking. Did not take much photos but happy to say most photos were well taken though we missed some guests.
*On most photos we can see another star, "care bear", it's Javan's security bear. We gave him that on that day so that we can at least delay for few minutes before he
"complaint" again...

Javan received some presents and lots of ang bao. We thanks all Guests who attended this party and thanks all for the lovely gifts.
