Javan saying a BIG 'THANK YOU'
The top 12 winner from motherhood are out and Javan is not 1 of them. Nevertheless, Javan still wanna say a BIG BIG THANK YOU to those who have voted on him.

17 Month
Wow...another month had passed!!! Javan is 17 Month old today. Next month he will be 1.5 year old.
Javan can understand our conversation pretty well. Whenever we ask him to bring something to us, most of the time he will (of coz it all depends on his mood)
He is cutting quite a no. of teeth this month, has been a little cranky at times. Including of not drinking his milk from his bottle. We all have to spoon feed him, when at home, Daddy has to flash the flashcard else he will whined and stop drinking. Oh yes, he enjoys the flashcard very much. When Daddy brings out the fashcard and ask him to sit sit, he will quietly sit down on the floor and look at the flashcard. He prefers chinese though!
He will throw tantrum when he cant get what he wants. We try to distract him with other things.
He loves to press open and close (Eject) the DVD player and remove the disc, the followed by a "a ta-ta"...dunno what he means and he will happily walked away..haa....
'Prety Auto'/being asked to in Waving Hello & Flying kiss to strangers
Loves playing with water.
Likes to go into the rooms/toilets. We will scare him by saying KaKa (bite bite), it works at first, do not works anymore (Javan realised that there's no Kaka at all....ha..ha...)
Loves to play with toy phone and place it on his ear.
Imitates adult, when played shake and go car with him, we shake the car and the car goes to him, he will try to shake the car like adult.
Daddy and Mummy have successfully "Weaned him off" his carebear. He no longer need to carry his bear bear everywhere (at home).
"Mummy! Aunty is not at home..."
"Let me hang up the phone for now, I will call Aunty again"

But i prefer to read by myself
My Shake and Go Car, I can do it by myself

Jurong Bird Park
We've brought Javan to Jurong Bird Park today, 14 June 2009.
Again, THANKS to Er Yee for the corporate tickets.
We went together with San Yee, Daniel Kor Kor. San Yee and Daniel Kor Kor stay overnight at our place after our saturday visit to Ah mah house. We all have our breakfast at Cafe Lobby (Met Nanny & Family) and we took a cab to Jurong Bird Park.
This Saturday the place was not crowded at all and we took some pictures and managed to took pictures of Javan looking at the birds. We watched a live performance at the Fuji Hawk and the show was only so-so (it's definitely less interesting than the Ocean Park, Bird Show, been there more than 10 years back but i still remember vividly how the trainer get the parrot to peddle on the mini tricycle.....yes "Peddle"....)
We also visited the mini play area for children, Javan wanted so much to play with water. He definitely enjoyed playing with water so much that he giggled when Daddy let him have a feel of water. He whined a little when Daddy do not allowed him to play with water. *We do not know there's a water area for kids, hence Daddy did not bring extra set of clothes*
We came back home close to noon as it was not an interesting place at all. Plus Daddy was having an upset tummy.:-( Daniel Kor Kor did not enjoy it. We all prefer Zoo. We will be back again...but not so soon....
Our little Darlin was so tired that he doze off on the cab.......and nap for 2 hours.....

Marina Barrage
We had our family outing at Marina Barrage with Daddy's family. It's a Pre-Father's Day celebration. We had our mini-picnic at the open field and the kids (Javan's cousin), Aunty and Uncle went kite flying. HT and I did not get a chance to walk around the place as our little Darlin had missed his nap and was a little tired. But managed to get a little nap later. We had our dinner at the restaurant there.

Mozzie bite
Mozzie bites may sound common but it's certainly not common if there's swollen with itch and pus. And Javan has it. Doctor said it's Mosquito allergic.
It's really swollen on our little Darlin's ankle (see pictures). We brought him to the GP last night at 8+pm at Yew Tee . Yesterday afternoon i got a called from Nanny that the mozzie bite become swollen and she will bring Javan to the Doctor. Since im on my way home after half a day of MC. Thot i might as well went over to see how bad is the swell. Last evening he just got the bite and it's not too bad till yesterday morning. Lazy mummy did not apply medication though we got 1 from Dr Keoy.
Reaching there seeing that the mozzie bite is really quite bad....it's red and swollen and not forgetting the itch. Javan has been scratching it. Applying cream at the eleventh hour certainly did not much help.
We asked Nanny to monitor for a while till he wakes up after his nap. Got a called from Nanny that the swell did subside a little. So we thought we should monitor for a while till the next morning.
When we reach him and by the time Javan has finished his milk, HT saw the swell seems to get worst. This time accompanying with some pus. Gosh...how can we wait till the next morning? So we decided to bring Javan to the nearby clinic. Luckily the queue was not too bad. We waited for about 10 mintues for our turn. We brought Javan in finally and Doctor examined and commented that it's mosquito allergic. Doctor prescribe a anti itch syrup and a cleaning lotion to clean the swelling area. And the swelling part should get well in 3-5 days time.
This evening to fetch Javan, we were quite relief as much of the swelling is gone but it's still pretty red. Thanks to Nanny for the constant/cleaning care on the swollen ankle.
