What's todays date?
Javan changed the date/Day on his own. However he still need help on Month.


Every morning he sits on the bench to look at his calender before we set off to Nanny's place.

31 Month - I Can Read

Javan started reading 2 weeks ago.
We started him with Ladybird, Peter & Jane Series.
He has completed and able to read series 1a & 1b (we need to sit beside him).
These books have lots of repetition which is suitable for beginners.

Honouring of Promises/MRT/LRT
Whatever we tell him, he remembered and he will remind us.
He loves to take LRT and able to name us the station names and station numbering correctly. Once, i took him for a LRT ride to Bangkit, i did not realise that i took the detour route, was condering why there's a huge jump in the no. (from BP 6 to 13) so i ask Javan "Bangkit 是 BP 几号". In an instant he told me "9"..Gosh, not only MRT, he can also remember LRT labelling well.

Request
Our little darling are having more and more request.
He keep requesting us to bring him out/take train..etc...

Speech
Able to speak more sentences and tell us what he wants.

Numbers in mandarin
Though he's knows his numbers well enough but he's counting in English all the time.
Now nanny/daddy teach him to count in mandarin, he can count from 1~30 correctly.

New Haircut

Javan refused to go barber for a hair cut. However he agreed to let 大姐姐 trim his hair.

Watch

Thanks Er Yee who bought a digital watch for Javan.
Javan loves this watch and always read us the time.
He has always wanted to wear Daddy's watch but it's too big for him.

Puzzle...Puzzle....Puzzle....

Bought few sets of puzzles for Javan last week.
Now he's getting better and better in doing and has more interest in puzzles.

Rainy Day

It's gonna be raining more often now.
Ive definitely have no strength to carry a 14+ KG boy.
Hence, i bought him a Thomas raincoat and a chugginton umbrella.
Javan was so happy to have his own brolly. He ask Mummy to "open" the brolly. And i tried the raincoat on him.
Aint he CUTE?? And most importantly it suits him nicely.

2.5 Year Old

Ive measured him and he is already 94-95cm tall!!!

Most of the time, he's an obedient little boy who likes to ran wild and play with our Iphone. He got hooked. One day, he told me, iphone...iphone (not too accurate), that's why i cant figure out that he's actually asking for iphone, he almost cried before i gave him my i phone. He used to play games like numbers/shapes. He got the hang of it. Guess he find it a little boring, he started on the map. SG map..it shows the MRT station as well.. He LOVES it!! He's able to look for the surrounding MRT stations easily. PS: We did not realise this map till he somehow "use it first"

He definitely knows how to tease us, playful Javan.
Eg. He will laugh and point to some stranger and said "ah..mama..mama.."

Little Achievement
Able to recognise most-to-all stations, including those new circle line (able to say out all station according to the station label..eg. NS1, EW21,....etc)

Able to count beyond 100...this is his counting page whereby he count and Daddy hold his hand to write. Suppose to stop at 30, as usual. But Mummy wanted to see really how much he can count. We then decided to carry on and Javan happily counted to ...100 and finally...S.T.O.P


Loves flashcards and able to recognise and understand (meanings) the following (suppose to pen down how much words he is able to read but Im too slow in writing...:-p)

Nowaday he could easily point out or recognise animal/object.

Whenever he sees a dog, he will say "d-o-g"

Not only that he's able to read from the flashcard, wherever we go, there's the same wording, we asked him and 80% he's able to read it. Same goes to MRT station name and road name.

When i show him a book, words that he can read now are: I, a and those that appeared in the flashcard..eg girl, baby, boy...he's improving...

He loves his Leapfrog DVD as it reminds him of going to Bishan with mummy to pick up this DVD from Aunty and Jie Jie.

He loves to scream.,...scream at people wif full expanding lung, which we are trying to find out WHY....perhaps he still cannot express his emotions, since he sill not too good with his speech. Hope he will speak more soon...
