Months of the Year
Kudos to our Javan. He's able to spell Jan to Dec on his own when we ask him to. *We did not let him learn this, he knew/memorise it on his own* Again he learn by painting/writing the months of the year daily (We hold his hand). For now, he loves to listen/watch mon-sun and jan-dec song on youtube. He able to do a key in a search on his own. He follow word for word on the puzzle "Days of the Months"

Writing
Javan has been writing alot nowaday, he loves to write, esp numbers...
He can finished tracing a book on 2 days/session of writing.
He can also write some numbers and letters on his own (without tracing).
He wrote 1404 (our unit number) on his own last night, it's pretty legible. The rest was probably written by Daddy. The only thing is that he still doesnt hold a pencil correctly.

Days of the Week
Last night when i asked Javan How you spell: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday.
And BINGO!!! He can spell all correctly. Im surprise coz we did not teach him or ask him to spell before that. I guess this is why he can remember (see picture).
Everyday he would pester us to let him have the colours and write Monday to Sunday (we hold his hand).
He will insist that Daddy tell him what are the monday to sunday colour that he should be writing with. He knew the colour! Once Daddy said it wrongly, he will protest and keep asking again and again till Daddy tells him the correct colour (stubborn!)
Mon-Blue, Tue-Green, Wed-Orange, Thurs-Purple, Fri-Pink, Sat-Yellow, Sun-Red.
He said "Teacher say, today is 1 March 2011 (Two Thousand Eleven), Tuesday"

Telephone NUMBER
At 3 year old, im surprise that Javan remembered tel no. (8 Digits) Oh, but not mine...
He remembered 大姐姐 handphone no. correctly.
He press her no. Correctly and attempt to talk to her.

Javan: hello 大姐姐....你有没有想我？ok... Bye bye....

2.5 Year Old
Ive measured him and he is already 94-95cm tall!!!
Most of the time, he's an obedient little boy who likes to ran wild and play with our Iphone. He got hooked. One day, he told me, iphone...iphone (not too accurate), that's why i cant figure out that he's actually asking for iphone, he almost cried before i gave him my i phone. He used to play games like numbers/shapes. He got the hang of it. Guess he find it a little boring, he started on the map. SG map..it shows the MRT station as well.. He LOVES it!! He's able to look for the surrounding MRT stations easily. PS: We did not realise this map till he somehow "use it first"
He definitely knows how to tease us, playful Javan.
Eg. He will laugh and point to some stranger and said "ah..mama..mama.."
Little Achievement
Able to recognise most-to-all stations, including those new circle line (able to say out all station according to the station label..eg. NS1, EW21,....etc)
Able to count beyond 100...this is his counting page whereby he count and Daddy hold his hand to write. Suppose to stop at 30, as usual. But Mummy wanted to see really how much he can count. We then decided to carry on and Javan happily counted to ...100 and finally...S.T.O.P
Loves flashcards and able to recognise and understand (meanings) the following (suppose to pen down how much words he is able to read but Im too slow in writing...:-p)
Nowaday he could easily point out or recognise animal/object.
His Vocab list (able to read and understand)
Still improving......
He likes to point at 2 similar objects and said "same-same"
Able to spell:
J-A-V-A-N
C-A-T
D-O-G
C-O-W
B-U-S
E-G-G....
Whenever he sees a dog, he will say "d-o-g"
Not only that he's able to read from the flashcard, wherever we go, there's the same wording, we asked him and 80% he's able to read it. Same goes to MRT station name and road name.
When i show him a book, words that he can read now are: I, a and those that appeared in the flashcard..eg girl, baby, boy...he's improving...
He loves his Leapfrog DVD as it reminds him of going to Bishan with mummy to pick up this DVD from Aunty and Jie Jie.
He loves to scream.,...scream at people wif full expanding lung, which we are trying to find out WHY....perhaps he still cannot express his emotions, since he sill not too good with his speech. Hope he will speak more soon...
