3 Year Old

Happy 3rd Birthday to Javan!!!
Waking up early and knowing that it's Javan Birthday! He even hymm to himself the Happy Birthday Song. Surprise that he can sing a bit! Actually yesterday he told me that 18 Jan is his birthday. He's aware of the dates and can remember his birthday that i told him once.
We decided to send him to Nanny's place as usual, and school as usual. We do not want him to think that he can missed school on his birthday. But we gave him a surprise, we waited for him outside his class. Upon seeing him, he's stop for a moment and was so caught by surprise that Muma and Dad are waiting for him.


Celebration at Lot 1 Pizza Hut
We had a mini celebration at pizza hut with nanny and aunty Mei feng only.
it's a novelty for this mini celebration on weekday, so we missed out on Nanny's family.
We had pizza and Javan had some delicious homecooked food by Nanny :-)

Not forgetting the cake that he choose himself. Javan wanted a Care Bear cake but we're too late to order 1. So he choosed a Barney cake.





Birthday Present
Thanks Wendy & Family and Aunty Mei Feng for the Ang Bao.
We bought Javan a 12" bicycle from kiddy palace as we sold his FP bike. I told him that i would buy him a new bike on his birthday, so when we asked him what he would like to have for his birthday. He replied: Bicycle! Great Memory indeed!!!

PS: Thanks 姑姑 for the Ang Bao too!

Hair cut @ Barber

Phew....Finally a New haircut for a New Year + new school.
We didn't manage to coax Javan to go for a haircut at the barber, Nanny & hubby did!
Whenever we ask Javan to go for a haircut he will whine and asked to get out of the barber, so there's no way to get him into the shop.
He really listen and likes Mr Lee (Nanny's hubby) a lot. This week Javan did not whine in the morning before going to nanny's place. Normally he will whine on morning and whenever he wakes up too early. This week he did not coz i think Mr. Lee is at home for the whole week.

First Wedding Dinner

Javan's very first wedding dinner (My cousin's wedding) @ The Furama, riverfront hotel on 26 Dec 2010 (Sunday)
He's more excited about taking MRT to Tiong Bahru than the wedding dinner.

+1....-1.....

I asked Javan 5+1, 8+1 and he knows it. That was 2 wks back when i visited mum and sis says that he can memorised it. somehow i belief that he memorised it, since he has such good memory.
It came to my mind, only last week, that i should try out, is Javan memorising +1..so i try on him last weekend. He got it all correct when i ask him, 30+1, 49+1..all which was not on the +1 table. So i know he really knows +1.
I took the chance to tell him -1 by pointing to the numbers on the numbers chart (he knows his accending and decending so well). Immediately he knows it. So i try out 50-1, 17-1.... He's able to tell me correctly. Still a bit confused over the 3 digit.
That's goods enough for a yet to be 3 year old kid.

Our Trip to Changi Airport

Javan has been waiting patiently for this day. And we went last Sunday (19 Dec 2010).
He hope to visit all the MRT stations. *I Think*
We went together with Nanny and Family.

FunThinker...

This is the fun thinker set that comes together with the grolier set that we bought for Javan.
The day before yesterday Daddy taught him to play, so yesterday i wanted to play with him but he prefer Daddy.
Javan: 要Daddy陪你玩 (你 refer to himself), he ran to Daddy and pull daddy hand and said "1 minute"..then he ran off to get the Fun Thinker...
(PS: I think he meant to say that he need only 1 minute to play together with Daddy, coz Daddy say he is busy)
